- FIF CAT Monthly Update Working Group Call. The CAT Monthly Update Working Group reviewed guidance and updates from the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT on CAT Transaction Reporting and CAT CAIS reporting during the prior month. The Working Group also reviewed the current areas of focus for FIF members and the current open issues for CAT Transaction Reporting and CAT CAIS reporting.
- FIF CAT CAIS Working Group. The CAIS Working Group discussed prior guidance from FINRA CAT relating to the compliance date for validation of FDIDs submitted to the CAT Transaction Reporting systems against CAIS submissions. The CAIS Working Group continued its review and discussion of the most recent updates to the CAIS Technical Specifications.
- FIF CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group. FIF hosted two calls this week for the CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group. During the first call, the FIF Co-Chairs provided an update on a call with the SEC staff relating to CAT reporting for non-executable RFQ responses. During this call, the Working Group also reviewed a draft FIF follow-up letter on CAT reporting for non-executable RFQ responses. During the second call, the Working Group continued its discussion of the implementation of the CAT Executed Share Model, including the review of various billing scenarios to send to the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT.
