- FIF Data and Technology Committee. The Data and Technology Committee reviewed capacity, latency and volume data for the prior month for the equity, options, currency, crypto and futures markets. The spotlight presenter was Vincent Poil of Cboe Global, who discussed recent developments in the Canadian Markets relating to trading, market data and listings. - FIF CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group (non-executable RFQ responses). FIF hosted two calls this week for the CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group. During the first call, the Working Group discussed CAT reporting for non-executable RFQ responses. The Working Group completed its review of issues and questions from FIF members relating to non-executable RFQ responses. The Working Group reviewed and edited draft comments and questions for FINRA CAT on CAT reporting for non-executable RFQ responses.
- FIF CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group (revised linkage timeline). During the second CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group call, the Working Group discussed a draft comment letter to the SEC on the proposal by the CAT Plan Participants to implement a revised linkage timeline for CAT reporting.
