- FIF Cybersecurity and Compliance and Surveillance Working Groups. FIF members discussed the amended rule proposal for notification of cybersecurity incidents filed by The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) with the SEC. The amended rule proposal by the OCC incorporates certain changes requested by FIF members in a prior FIF comment letter.
- FIF CAT CAIS Working Group. The CAIS Working Group discussed the reopening of the CAIS test environment. The Working Group reviewed a draft letter to the SEC and the CAT Operating Committee on the retirement of legacy reporting rules and systems. The Working Group discussed a recent filing by the CAT Operating Committee relating to the fourth financial accountability milestone.
- FIF CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group. The CAT Transaction Working Group discussed a draft letter to the SEC and the CAT Plan Participants on the retirement of legacy reporting rules and systems. The Working Group discussed recent filings by the CAT Operating Committee relating to the retention of industry test data, 2X load testing and the fourth financial accountability milestone. The Working Group reviewed draft FIF member comments and questions for FINRA CAT relating to MRP and other handlingInstructions values and survey responses from FIF members on scheduled linkage in the CAT production mirror environment. FIF submitted these comments and question to FINRA CAT. The Working Group discussed the draft exemption request previously submitted by FIF to the SEC on CAT reporting of port settings.
