- FIF Rule 606 Working Group. The Rule 606 Working Group discussed recent guidance from SEC staff to FIF members on Rule 606(a) reporting when a reporting firm routes a single parent order to multiple child execution venues.
- FIF Rule 605 Working Group. The Rule 605 Working Group reviewed and discussed a draft supplemental FIF comment letter on the SEC’s rule proposal on Disclosure of Order Execution Information.
- SEC Cyber, Reg SCI and Reg S-P Rule Proposals. FIF hosted a call to review and make final edits to the FIF comment letter on the SEC’s recent cybersecurity, Reg SCI and Reg S-P rule proposals.
- FIF CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group. The CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group discussed the June 6 letter from SIFMA to the SEC on the most recent CAT funding proposal. The Working Group discussed a draft request to FINRA CAT to remove the MRP handlingInstructions value and to identify other handlingInstructions values that are never or rarely used. The Working Group reviewed a draft response to the CAT Plan Participants summarizing the FIF survey results on scheduled linkage in the CAT production mirror environment. The Working Group discussed provisions from Rule 613, the CAT adopting release and the CAT NMS Plan relating to port settings, linkage of representative to customer orders, and linkage of order fulfillments to representative and principal orders.
