- FIF Rule 606 Working Group. The Rule 606 Working Group continued its review and discussion of a draft FIF comment letter on the rule filing submitted by FINRA to the SEC on Disclosure of Order Routing Information for OTC Equities (SR-FINRA-2022-031). FIF submitted this comment letter on December 20.
- FIF CAT CAIS Working Group. On December 20, 2022 FIF members participated on a call with SEC staff to discuss the prior request submitted by FIF members for an extension of the Full CAIS compliance date. The Working Group discussed this call and next steps. The Working Group discussed FIF member suggestions to address current CAIS reporting issues. The Working Group discussed a scenario involving CAIS error codes 22523 (Customer Record rejected because an associated FDID was rejected) and 22900 (Malformed TID Record – CAT Customer Record not processed). The Working Group discussed a new CAIS portal issue where any FDID record manually submitted with a populated branchOfficeCRD is rejecting with a 22034 error code.
