- FIF CAT Committee - The FIF CAT Committee call summarized the prior discussions of the CAT Tech Specs and CAT CAIS Working Group during the week.
- FIF TRACE Working Group - The group held a follow-up call to discuss FINRA's proposed changes to the TRACE reporting rules that were recommended by the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Fixed Income Market Structure Advisory Committee. The proposed changes relate to delayed reporting of Treasury spot trades and the reporting of certain portfolio trades.
- FIF CAT Tech Spec Requirements Working Group - The Working Group reviewed new FINRA CAT FAQs relating to allocations, rejected routes and foreign securities, reviewed specific issues to be raised with FINRA CAT, reviewed the updated draft of the FIF comment letter relating to the termination of OATS, reviewed the request from FINRA CAT for industry feedback on clock synchronization, reviewed CAT Alert 2020-24 relating to self-reporting of error events, discussed the issues resulting from FINRA CAT making the option symbol list available on a delayed basis, and discussed the reporting of intra-day allocation updates for allocations that have not yet been reported to FINRA CAT.
- FIF CAT CAIS Working Group - The FIF CAT CAIS Working Group held its first call. FIF introduced Will Leahey and Jacki VanMoer as the Co-chairs for the CAT CAIS Working Group. The Working Group reviewed the timeline for CAT CAIS reporting, the CAT CAIS FAQs issued by FINRA CAT during August 2020 (Q20 through Q30), and various issues relating to Phase 2c of CAT CAIS.
