- FIF CAT Tech Spec Working Group - FIF held two working group meetings on Wednesday, October 23 and Friday, October 25. During each call, FIF reviewed allocation scenarios and remaining questions, focusing on finalizing industry recommendations pertaining to the scope of allocations reporting and completing reporting modeling. FIF plan on finalizing our recommendations this Wednesday, after which time we will move on to cancellation scenarios.
- Interview with FINRA CAT on the CAT NMS Plan site - FIF provided our recommendations in terms of improving the functionality and utility of the CATNMSPlan.com website
- FIF CAT Committee - FIF solicited a final round of feedback on our comments on the Commission’s Proposed Amendments to the CAT NMS Plan to be submitted on October 28, 2019. The group also touched upon an anticipated change departmentType, including next steps with FINRA CAT.
- FIF Reg Best Interest Working Group - FIF kicked off the first meeting soliciting feedback on topics the industry would like to focus on and discussion of potential output of the working group (i.e. best practices).
