- FIF CAT Tech Spec Working Group - FIF reviewed all recent additions and amendments to the CAT Technical Specifications/CAT Scenarios Document. FIF held a second Tech Spec Working Group call to discuss several remaining issues, including the status of connectivity, and review of the recent Q&A session with FINRA CAT.
- CAT Options Deep Dive - Paired Options - FIF led a joint working group meeting with SIFMA and STA representatives on Paired Options Orders. During this call, FIF reviewed the scoping materials provided by the SROs and began to work through solutions pertaining to reporting Paired Options Orders. FIF intends to hold weekly meetings prior to the finalization of industry recommendations.
- FIF SEC Rule 606 Working Group - On Monday, September 9th FIF held an SEC Rule 606 working group meeting to discuss open questions stemming out of the SEC’s recent grant of FIF/STA’s request for a Rule 606 extension. During this call, FIF walked through a common order routing scenario based upon FIF’s interpretation of the August 9 Rule 606 FAQs. FIF held a second working group meeting to review the material that was covered during the Thursday, September 12 meeting with SEC Division of Trading and Markets Staff.
