Working Group Updates (Week of 6/17)

- FIF CAT Working Group - FIF reviewed the proposed CAT LTID Phase 3 solution, discussed the proposed changes to the CAT Tech Spec, provided updates on outstanding requests made to FINRA CAT, and discussed the SEC's request for comment on EBS.
- FIF CAT Tech Spec Working Group - FIF followed up on the review of the SRO proposed changes to the tech spec, including handling instructions and cancel flag/ cancel timestamp on order fulfillment events. We then continued our review of the scenerios document, beginning with section 2.6.5.
- FIF SEC Rule 606 Working Group - FIF provided an update on the status of industry requested guidance and reviewed the proposed FIX liquidity indicator (additional value to be added to FIX Tag 851). FIF proposed developing industry best practices with working group members, with the intention of better facilitating compliance with SEC Rule 606.
