Working Group Updates (Week of 6/3)

- FIF CAT Working Group - FIF reviewed the draft of member recommendations on the CAT Web Portal, the proposed revisions to the CAT Industry Member Technical Specifications and an update on additional allowable symbols within the alphanumeric string.
- FIF CAT Tech Spec Working Group - FIF recapped last week's call on Trade Busts. FIF continued the review of the CAT Industry Member Scenerios Document, beginning with section 2.4.3 (fill of a single customer order on an Average Price Basis).
- FIF CAT Web Portal Review Subgroup - FIF presented our recommendations to the CAT Working Group on Thursday, May 30th completing its review of the FINRA CAT mockups of the CAT web portal in preparation for the in-person meeting with FINRA CAT/SROs later today.
- FIF Tax Information Reporting Working Group - Focused on 199A Dividend reporting, IRS extension of recipient copies/statements, and updated the group on the June 11th webinar on 1042-S reporting.
- FIF Data & Technology Committee Meeting - This month's spotlight topic was presented by FIFs Kevin McCabe who discussed the launch of the new exchange: LTSE. We followed this presentation with a review of the FIF Market Data Capacity Reports, a summary of exchange and SIP technical notices and updates, and a review of recent or upcoming regulations that impact market data.
