Working Group Updates (Week of 5/28)

- FIF CAT Tech Spec Working Group - FIF continued the review of the CAT Industry Member Scenerios Document, beginning with section 2.4 (representative order scenarios).
- FIF CAT Web Portal Review Subgroup - FIF continued its review of the FINRA CAT mockups of the CAT web portal in preparation for an in-person meeting with FINRA CAT/SROs on June 3rd. FIF will be presenting our recommendations to the CAT Working Group on Thursday, May 30th.
- FIF Front Office Committee Meeting - Focused on order management and trading system issues resulting from proposed rule changes (SEC, FINRA, SROs). Find this month's agenda here
- FIF SEC Rule 606 Working Group - FIF reviewed the feedback on the status of guidance/FAQs from SEC Staff. Planned next steps in terms of prioritizing required guidance, agreed upon the time and manner of escalation and planned next steps concerning current implementation without further guidance
