- FIF Cloud Technology Working Group - Ed Featherston of HPE presented a spotlight topic focused on the challenges and benefits of the Cloud migration process. Mr. Featherston's advice ranged from cybersecurity tips to the prep work your firm should consider before starting the migration process to challenges met across implementation.
- FIF CAT Tech Spec Subgroup - FIF held two tech spec requirements subgroup meeting the week of April 1. On Wednesday, April 9, FIF focused on the changes that have been made to the current version of the CAT Industry Member Technical Specification. During the Friday, April 5 meeting, FIF began to focus on options reporting. FIF will be having two tech spec calls per week, one focusing on options and one focusing on non-options CAT reporting requirements.
- FIF SEC Rule 606 Working Group - FIF reviewed and elicited feedback on the materials that will be presented to the SEC during the April 11th in-person meeting.
- FIF CAT Working Group Meeting - Reviewed the comment letter submitted on April 2 concerning the current CAT implementation schedule, reviewed phase 2a and 2c representative order reporting requirements, provided an update on CAT Quote Events and covered CAT phase 2c/d/e testing/implementation milestones.
