Working Group Updates (Week of 12/10)

- FIF/SIFMA LTID Phase 3 Working Group - Discussed potential options to comply with LTID Phase III’s requirements to prepare for future meetings with the SEC Staff. Analyzed initial alternatives.
- FIF CAT Tech Spec Working Group - Solicited feedback on the FIF member requested scenarios/requests for additional guidance pertaining to the scenarios (FIF Request for Additional Scenarios) and continued with the review of section 2.1.2 of the scenario document
- FIF CAT Working Group - Reviewed the deep-dive discussion materials discussed with the SROs/Thesys CAT on the CAT Testing/Error Correction Process, and went over feedback on the SROs current FDID construct.
- FIF Reg ATS-N Subgroup - Reviewed questions raised by members allowing members to ask questions posed to peer firms to determine best practices regarding Reg ATS-N implementation/disclosure requirements
- FIF Back Office Committee Meeting - Provided guidance and insight on implementation issues relating to exchange, utility, and industry initiatives as well as regulatory changes affecting securities processing and reporting. 12/11 Agenda
- FIF Cloud Technology Working Group - We began the call with a group discussion on cloud licensing/contracts, we then shifted to an examination of some use cases of firms successfully integrating cloud technology into their businessess, use cases included: FINRA, Refinitiv and Bloomberg.
