Working Group Updates (Week of 10/15)

- FIF CAT Options Subgroup - Reviewed the options scenerios proposed proposed/discussed with Industry Members in preparation for the a follow up discussion with the SROs/ThesysCAT.
- FIF FDID Subgroup - Reviewed the current SRO FDID construct in preparation for an in-person discussion on November 13. FIF highlighted the challenges related to maintaining/updating unique FDIDs at the Broker-Dealer/Vendor level. FIF will be holding a follow up discussion on Wednesday, October 24 to discuss the recommendations.
- FIF CAT Working Group - Reviewed the initiatives being pursued in the subgroups, reviewed the manual routes followed by electronic messages deep dive materials, options and solutions to be proposed to the SROs on the issue of maintaing unique route linkages on routes between industry members, and reviewed the SRO's proposed Representative Order Linkage/Flagging Requirements - Phase 2a.
- FIF Response to the Rule Proposal to Expand OTC Equity Trading Volume Data Subgroup - Focused on the operational burdens associated with this rule proposal. A follow up meeting to discuss the draft version of the comment letter will be held on Friday, October 26 @ 2:00 PM et.
