Working Group Updates (Week of 10/8)

- FIF Back Office Committee Meeting - Provided guidance and insight on implementation issues relating to exchange, utility, and industry initiatives as well as regulatory changes affecting securities processing and reporting. 10/9 Agenda
- FIF Manual Events Subgroup - Discussed whether it will be feasible for your firm to report the manual order with the representative flag populated and indicating the orderID of the electronic message on the manual New Order Event. A follow up discussion with the SROs/ThesysCAT has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 16th.
- FIF Error Correction Subgroup - Reviewed the industry recommendations on error correction and file submission and engaged in a deep-dive discussion with the SROs/ThesyCAT on Tuesday, October 9th and Thursday, October 11th.
- FIF CAT Working Group - Reviewed the initiatives being pursued in the subgroups, reviewed the new changes to the tech spec (V0.7) and held a call for participation for new groups on FIX/CAT, FDID, Options, and Industry Testing
- FIF CAT Tech Spec Review Working Group - Reviewed the recent amendments to the Industry Member Tech Spec (V0.7) released Friday, October 5th. Specifically, the changes focus on the error correction/file submission process required of CAT Reporters.
