Working Group Updates (Week of 8/6)

- FIF/STA/Sifma CAT Matching Criteria Subgroup - Completed our deep dive discussion with the SROs on Tuesday, July 31.
- FIF CAT Working Group - Discussed items in scope for Phases 2a-2d of the proposed CAT Implemenation Schedule and formed and Ad Hoc subgroup on FDID. FIF further reviewed the Matching Criteria's deep dive materials.
- FIF/STA/Sifma Error Correction Subgroup - Discussed examples provided demonstrating the challenges of CAT’s current requirement that file scans will stop after the 10% error threshold and potential recommendations. Additionally, we discussed challenges around the tight coupling in the repair process/identification of the repair record via index and the File Upload Process.
