SLATE and Short Position Reporting

FIF has scheduled a joint call for the SLATE Working Group and the Short Sales / Reg SHO / Short Reporting Working Group for Thursday September 4 at 11 am ET. The Working Groups will discuss a draft FIF letter to the SEC to request an extension of the compliance dates for Securities Loan Reporting and Short Position Reporting in light of the decision by the 5^th Circuit Court of Appeals to remand the Securities Loan Reporting and Short Position Reporting rules back to the SEC.
