FIF has scheduled a webinar on best execution for Monday October 7 at 3 pm ET. The moderator will be Chris Montagnino of Jordan & Jordan. The panelists will be Ben Calev of BXS, Mark Davies of S3 and Ted Karn of The Karn Group. FIF has invited the members of the Compliance and Surveillance, Rule 605 and Rule 606 Working Groups to participate in this webinar.

FIF has scheduled a call for the Short Sales / Reg SHO / Short Position Reporting Working Group for Monday October 7 at 10 am ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of the implementation of Form SHO reporting.

FIF has scheduled the next call for the OFR Repo Reporting Working Group for Monday October 7 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will continue its review of the FAQ updates published by the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research (OFR) on September 27 relating to the reporting of non-centrally cleared bilateral repos. The Working Group will also review a draft supplemental FIF letter to the OFR.

FIF has scheduled a call for the Rule 606 Working Group for Monday October 7 at 1 pm ET. The Working Group will discuss feedback from the SEC relating to Rule 606(a) reporting of the percentage of orders routed to different venues.

FIF has scheduled the next call for the Financial Data Transparency Act Working Group for Tuesday October 8 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will review and discuss the first draft of a comment letter on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking published by the SEC and other financial regulators.

Because of the FIF event at Cboe on October 9, FIF has scheduled the CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group call for this week for Tuesday October 8 at 1 pm ET. FIF will not have a CAIS Working Group call this week. The next CAIS Working Group call will be on Wednesday October 16 at 11 am ET.
