FIF wants to thank the attendees of the FIF Event on 4/8. The strong panels and the beautiful venue made for a great evening. The regulatory panel covered a lot of content in a short amount of time and showed how the industry’s willingness to collaborate on these initiatives is beneficial for all. The technology panel taking place at AWS, it was the perfect place to have a discussion on the cloud, importance of low latency, the current digital asset landscape, GEN AI and extended hours trading. Timely topics on both panels. It was great catching up with all of you in the networking section of the event and look forward to continuing this collaboration in our working groups going forward. On April 9, FIF submitted a comment letter to the SEC in response to the rule filing by the CAT Plan Participants to remove PII from CAT. FIF would like to thank the members of the CAT CAIS and CAT Transaction Reporting Working Groups for their contributions in the drafting of this comment letter.

FIF has scheduled three calls for this week for the SLATE Working Group. The first call will be on Monday April 14 at 11 am ET; the second call will be on Wednesday April 16 at 11 am ET; and the third call will be on Thursday April 18 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of a draft letter to the SEC and FINRA relating to the implementation of SLATE reporting.

FIF has scheduled a call for the Equity Market Regulations Working Group for Monday April 14 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will discuss the testing and implementation process for the upcoming changes to round lot sizes and dissemination of odd lot data.
