FIF has scheduled a call for the SLATE Working Group for Thursday December 11 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of issues relating to SLATE implementation to raise with the SEC and FINRA.

CAT Monthly Update Working Group

FIF has scheduled the December CAT Monthly Update Working Group call for Thursday December 11 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will review guidance and updates from the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT on CAT Transaction Reporting, CAT CAIS and CAT billing during the prior month. The Working Group will also review the current areas of focus for FIF members and the current open issues for CAT Transaction Reporting, CAT CAIS and CAT billing.

Cybersecurity Working Group

The next call for the Cybersecurity Working Group will be on Tuesday December 16 at 3 pm ET. Monsurat Ottun from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) will discuss current threats to the financial industry.

FIF Year-End Holiday Event: Full Panels Announced

FIF is excited to announce our 2025 Year-End Holiday Event, hosted by Société Generale on December 4th from 2:45 pm to 7:30 pm ET. After opening remarks from Greg Zielinski (Chief Operating Officer – Societe Generale Americas), there will be three panels. The first panel will be on 2026 Regulatory Implementations, the second panel will be on Technology & Innovation and the final panel will be on Tokenized Securities/Digital Assets. The moderator for the 2026 Regulatory Implementations panel will be Howard Meyerson of FIF and the panelists will be David Emero of n-Tier fs, Jeremy Kahn of Jane Street and Sarah Zgliniec of NYSE. The moderator of the Technology & Innovation panel will be Tom Jordan of Jordan & Jordan and the panelists will be Ken Brady of Morgan Stanley, Judy McDonald of SIG and Steven Riley of Oracle. The moderator of the Tokenized Securities/Digital Assets panel will be Joerg Riegel of Societe Generale and the panelists will be Shawn Sloves of Fundamental Interactions, Maxwell Stein of BlackRock and Tom Sullivan of DTCC.
