The CAT Monthly Update Working Group call for October will be on Thursday October 9 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will review guidance and updates from the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT on CAT Transaction Reporting, CAT CAIS and CAT billing during the prior month. The Working Group will also review the current areas of focus for FIF members and the current open issues for CAT Transaction Reporting, CAT CAIS reporting and CAT billing.

FIF has scheduled a call for the CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group for Wednesday October 15 at 11 am ET. This call will focus on FIF submitting to the SEC a request for exemption relating to CAT reporting of port settings. FIF previously submitted an exemption request to the SEC in draft form.

After opening remarks from Kevin Carrai of Cboe, there will be two panels, one focusing on options trading and market developments and the other focusing on market data and technology. FIF has scheduled two calls for the SLATE Working Group for this week. The first call will be on Monday September 22 at 11 am ET; the second call will be on Thursday September 25 at 11 am. FIF members will provide an update on recent discussions with FINRA to address challenges with SLATE reporting, as currently designed. The Working Group will also review a draft FIF letter to the SEC and FINRA relating to cumulative end-of-day reporting and other SLATE-reporting issues.
