The spotlight presenter will be John Hiatt of Cboe Labs, who will discuss the Cboe Dispersion Index.

Reporting of Bilateral Repos that are not Centrally Cleared

FIF has scheduled a call for the OFR Repo Reporting Working Group for Thursday May 30 at 1 pm ET. The agenda for the call will be to continue the review and discussion of the documentation published by the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research (OFR) relating to reporting for repos that are executed bilaterally and not centrally-cleared (NCCBR repos). Time permitting, the Working Group will also review a draft letter to the OFR requesting guidance on various implementation questions and issues.

SEC Rule on Short Position and Short Activity Reporting

FIF has scheduled the next call for the FIF Short Sales / Reg SHO / Short Reporting Working Group for Thursday May 30 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will continue its review and discussion of a draft FIF letter to the SEC requesting guidance on the implementation of SEC Rule 13f-2 on Short Position and Short Activity Reporting. The Working Group will also discuss issues and questions from FIF members relating to the implementation of Rule 13f-2.
