The Front Office Committee will have its next call on Tuesday November 21 at 11 am ET to review applicable updates and notices from the SEC, FINRA, FINRA CAT and the equity and option exchanges.

FIF has scheduled the next call for the FIF Tax Information Reporting Working Group for Tuesday November 28 at 3 pm ET. Stevie Conlon of Wolters Kluwer will discuss the recent IRS regulations for crypto. FIF also has invited the members of the FIF Crypto, Digital Assets and Blockchain Working Group to participate on this call.

The Data & Technology Committee will have its next call on Wednesday November 29 at 10 am ET to review capacity, latency and volume data for the prior month for the equity, options, currency, crypto and futures markets. The spotlight presenter will be Stephen Dorrian of Cboe, who will discuss market data in Europe.

On November 16, FIF submitted a letter to the SEC on CAT reporting for RFQ responses that are not immediately actionable.

FIF is excited to announce our 2023 Year-End Event, sponsored by Societe Generale. After opening remarks from Greg Zielinski, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Société Générale Americas, there will be two panels, the first focusing on technology, specifically trading and market data in the cloud and hybrid environments.
