TRACE/Fixed Income Working Group

FIF has scheduled the next call for the TRACE/Fixed Income Working Group for Tuesday March 14 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will discuss recent TRACE FAQ updates by FINRA relating to reporting the portfolio trade modifier and TRACE reporting for foreign sovereign bonds. The Working Group also will discuss questions from FIF members relating to TRACE reporting for Reg S transactions and currency conversion for TRACE reporting.

Rule 606 Working Group Call

On March 3 the SEC published an order to seek further comment on the FINRA rule proposal on disclosure of order routing information for OTC equity securities and NMS securities. FIF has scheduled a call for the Rule 606 Working Group for Thursday March 16 at 1 pm ET to discuss this SEC order.

SEC Order Competition Rule Proposal

FIF has scheduled a call for Thursday March 16 at 2 pm ET to discuss a revised draft of the FIF comment letter on the SEC’s Order Competition Rule proposal. FIF has invited members of the SEC Equity Market Proposals Working Group to participate on this call.

OFR Proposal on Reporting for Bilateral Repos

FIF has scheduled a call for Tuesday March 7 at 11 am ET to discuss a revised draft of an FIF comment letter on a recent proposal by the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research to require daily reporting for non-centrally cleared bilateral repos. FIF has invited members of the new OFR Repo Reporting Working Group and the TRACE/Fixed Income Working Group to participate on this call. The comment period ends on March 10. This is the last call for this Working Group prior to the submission of the FIF comment letter.
