CAT Monthly Update Working Group Call

The FIF CAT Monthly Update Working Group call for March will be on Thursday March 9 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will review guidance and updates from the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT on CAT Transaction Reporting and CAT CAIS reporting during the prior month. The Working Group also will review the current areas of focus for FIF members and the current open issues for CAT transaction reporting and CAT CAIS reporting.

FIF Back Office Committee

The Back Office Committee will have its next call on Tuesday February 21 at 11 am ET to review applicable FICC, DTC, NSCC, SEC, MSRB, OCC, IRS and FINRA updates during the past month. The spotlight presenters will be Robert Cavallo and John Vinci of DTCC, who will discuss the T+1 testing framework published by DTCC.

Processing of NYSE Rule 18 Reimbursements

On Wednesday February 22 at 3 pm ET, FIF will host a call for firms to discuss the processing of NYSE Rule 18 reimbursements for the opening-auction system issues that occurred on January 24. The group will discuss whether firms are adjusting trade prices for customers, associated processing and trade reporting issues, cost basis for customers, and other issues that firms want to raise relating to the processing of these reimbursements.
