TRACE Working Group

FIF has scheduled the next call for the TRACE Working Group for Tuesday October 10 at 2:30 pm ET. The Working Group will discuss (i) a draft letter to FINRA requesting confirmation that the TRACE ATS exemption does not impact TAF fees, and (ii) feedback from FIF members on the October 7 UAT testing for TRACE changes that go into production on November 6.

Next Bridge Form S-1 Filing

FIF has scheduled a call with the SEC staff for Tuesday October 10 at 4 pm ET to discuss the Form S-1 registration statement filed by Next Bridge Hydrocarbons to distribute subscription rights only to holders who register their Next Bridge common stock directly with the company's transfer agent. The Next Bridge filing, if approved by the SEC, would prohibit holders who want to participate in the offering from holding their shares through a broker or other intermediary. FIF Chicago Event

FIF is excited to announce our annual Chicago event, sponsored by Cboe Global Markets. After opening remarks from Catherine Clay, there will be two panels, one focusing on compliance, surveillance and regulation, and the other focusing on market data and technology. FIF Advisory Chair, Tom Jordan, will moderate both panels. The regulation panel will feature Nicole Pursley of Cboe Global Markets, along with additional panelists to be announced soon. Revised Schedule for FIF CAT Calls for this Week

FIF will host two calls this week for the CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group. The first call will be on Tuesday October 3 at 2 pm ET and will review responses received from FINRA CAT on reporting for non-immediately actionable RFQ responses. The second call will be on Wednesday October 4 at 2 pm ET and will continue the discussion of the billing process for the CAT Executed Share Model. FIF will also host a CAIS call this week on Wednesday October 4 at 11 am ET and the monthly CAT call on Thursday (see next item).
