OFR Repo Reporting Working Group

FIF has scheduled the next call for the OFR Repo Reporting Working Group for Monday January 27 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of the implementation of reporting non-centrally cleared bilateral repos to the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research.

Front Office Committee; Blue Ocean Presentation on Extended-Hours Trading

The Front Office Committee will have its next call on Tuesday January 28 at 11 am ET to review applicable updates and notices from the SEC, FINRA, FINRA CAT and the equity and option exchanges. Representatives from Blue Ocean Technologies will discuss Blue Ocean ATS and recent and upcoming developments relating to extended-hours trading.

AML and Sanctions: Annual Update by Debevoise Law Firm

On Wednesday January 29 at 11 am ET, Satish Kini and Robert Dura of the Debevoise law firm will review 2024 developments relating to anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations and key issues to focus on for 2025. FIF has invited the members of the Compliance and Surveillance Working Group to participate on this call.

Digital Asset Securities Working Group

The next call for the Digital Asset Securities Working Group will be on Thursday January 30 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will discuss a revised draft FIF letter to the SEC on custody of digital asset securities by broker-dealers and the SEC’s policy statement on special purpose broker-dealers.
