Additional CAT Transaction Reporting Call This Week

FIF has scheduled an additional call for the CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group for this week. On Monday March 4 at 2 pm the Working Group will continue its review and discussion of a draft FIF comment letter on CAT billing and reconciliation and make any final edits to the letter. The Monday call is in addition to the regularly-scheduled CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group call on Wednesday March 6 at 2 pm ET.

SEC Open Meeting on Rule 605

The SEC has scheduled an open meeting for Wednesday March 6 at 9:45 am. The first item on the agenda is to “consider whether to adopt amendments … that would expand the scope of entities subject to Rule 605, modify the categorization and content of order information reported under the rule, and require reporting entities to produce a summary report of execution quality.” The second item on the agenda is to “consider whether to adopt rules to require registrants to provide certain climate-related information in their registration statements and annual reports.” You can access the meeting from the SEC’s home page at the scheduled time for the meeting.

T+1 / Trade Date Affirmations Subgroup

FIF has scheduled a call for the T+1 / Trade Date Affirmations subgroup for Thursday March 7 at 11 am ET to continue the discussion of issues and questions from members relating to the implementation of T+1 and the requirement for trade-date affirmations.

CAT Monthly Update Working Group

The FIF CAT Monthly Update Working Group call for March will be on Thursday March 7 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will review guidance and updates from the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT on CAT Transaction Reporting, CAT CAIS and CAT billing reporting during the prior month. The Working Group will also review the current areas of focus for FIF members and the current open issues for CAT Transaction Reporting, CAT CAIS reporting and CAT billing.
