Processing of NYSE Rule 18 Reimbursements

On Wednesday February 22 at 3 pm ET, FIF will host a call for firms to discuss the processing of NYSE Rule 18 reimbursements for the opening-auction system issues that occurred on January 24. The group will discuss whether firms are adjusting trade prices for customers, associated processing and trade reporting issues, cost basis for customers, and other issues that firms want to raise relating to the processing of these reimbursements. SEC Rule Proposal on Disclosure of Order Execution Information

The next call for the Rule 605 Working Group will be on Thursday February 23 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of the SEC’s recent rule proposal on Disclosure of Order Execution Information. FIF also has invited members of the Rule 606 Working Group for this call. OFR Proposal on Reporting for Bilateral Repos

FIF has scheduled a call for Thursday February 23 at 2 pm ET to review a revised draft of an FIF comment letter on a recent proposal by the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research to require daily reporting for non-centrally cleared bilateral repos. FIF has invited members of the new OFR Repo Reporting Working Group and the TRACE/Fixed Income Working Group to participate on this call. FIF has scheduled a call for Monday February 13 at 2 pm ET to continue the discussion of the SEC’s Order Competition Rule proposal. FIF has invited members of the Data and Technology Committee, the Front Office Committee and the Compliance and Surveillance Working Group to participate on this call.
