OFR Proposal on Reporting for Bilateral Repos

FIF has scheduled a call for Tuesday March 7 at 11 am ET to discuss a revised draft of an FIF comment letter on a recent proposal by the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research to require daily reporting for non-centrally cleared bilateral repos. FIF has invited members of the new OFR Repo Reporting Working Group and the TRACE/Fixed Income Working Group to participate on this call. The comment period ends on March 10. This is the last call for this Working Group prior to the submission of the FIF comment letter.

CAT Monthly Update Working Group Call

The FIF CAT Monthly Update Working Group call for March will be on Thursday March 9 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will review guidance and updates from the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT on CAT Transaction Reporting and CAT CAIS reporting during the prior month. The Working Group also will review the current areas of focus for FIF members and the current open issues for CAT transaction reporting and CAT CAIS reporting.

SEC Order Competition Rule Proposal

FIF has scheduled a call for Thursday March 9 at 3 pm ET to continue the discussion of the SEC’s Order Competition Rule proposal. As notified last week, the invitation for this call has only been sent to the members of the new FIF SEC Equity Market Proposals Working Group.
