FIF is excited to announce our year-end event will take place on the evening of Tuesday December 5, and it will be sponsored by Société Générale. Those who were at the last Société Générale event back in 2017 know what a great venue this is, and FIF is excited to partner with Société Générale once again. We are planning on running two panels, with the first focusing on technology, including trading infrastructure in the cloud. FIF has scheduled a call for Tuesday October 10 at 11 am to discuss questions from an FIF member on how a firm should calculate its market share for determining whether it has exceeded specific market share thresholds set forth in the SEC’s Reg ATS and Reg SCI. The FIF CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group call for this week will be on Tuesday October 10 at 1:30 pm ET. FIF will not have a CAIS call this week.

FIF has scheduled the next call for the TRACE Working Group for Tuesday October 10 at 2:30 pm ET. The Working Group will discuss (i) a draft letter to FINRA requesting confirmation that the TRACE ATS exemption does not impact TAF fees, and (ii) feedback from FIF members on the October 7 UAT testing for TRACE changes that go into production on November 6.
