The panels will cover market developments and regulatory issues for options. FIF hosted this event annually for many years prior to 2020. FIF will announce further details in the near future, including how to register for the event.

The Front Office Committee will have its next call on Tuesday October 4 at 11 am ET to review applicable updates and notices from the SEC, FINRA, FINRA CAT and the equity and option exchanges. The spotlight presenters will be Matt Cohen and Rachel Andreassian of Provable Markets, who will discuss FIX for stock lending.

FIF has cancelled the regularly-scheduled weekly CAT Transaction Reporting and CAT CAIS calls for this Wednesday October 5. FIF will host the regularly-scheduled weekly CAT CAIS call on Friday October 7 at 1 pm (ET).

The FIF CAT Monthly Update Working Group call for October will be on Thursday October 6 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will review guidance and updates from the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT on CAT transaction reporting and CAT CAIS reporting during the prior month. The Working Group also will review the current areas of focus for FIF members and the current open issues for CAT transaction reporting and CAT CAIS reporting.

On September 20, FIF submitted a comment letter on FINRA Regulatory Notice 22-14 (FINRA Requests Comment on Proposed Trade Reporting Requirements for Over-The-Counter Options Transactions).
