On February 4, FIF submitted a letter to the SEC and FINRA relating to the dissemination of fractional shares by the SIPs and the potential impact on the obligations of broker-dealers pursuant to the vendor display rule. FIF has scheduled two joint calls for the CAT Transaction Reporting and CAIS Working Groups for this week. The first call will be on Monday February 9 at 1 pm ET; the second call will be on Wednesday February 11 at 2 pm ET. The Working Groups will discuss a revised draft FIF comment letter in response to the rule filing by CAT LLC to reduce CAT operating costs.
