Two Additional CAT Transaction Reporting Calls This Week

FIF has scheduled two additional calls for the CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group for this week. On Monday February 26 and Thursday February 29 at 2 pm, the Working Group will continue its review and discussion of a draft FIF comment letter on CAT billing and reconciliation. The Monday and Thursday calls are in addition to the regularly-scheduled CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group call on Wednesday February 28 at 2 pm ET.

The Front Office Committee will have its next call on Tuesday February 27 at 11 am ET to review applicable updates and notices from the SEC, FINRA, FINRA CAT and the equity and option exchanges.

Presentation by Amazon Web Services on Running an Exchange in the Cloud

The Data and Technology Committee will have its next call on Wednesday February 28 at 10 am ET to review capacity, latency and volume data for the prior month for the equity, option, currency, crypto and futures markets. The spotlight presenters will be Alex Mirarchi and Mike Perna of Amazon Web Services, who will discuss their recent white paper on Running an Exchange in the Cloud. FIF has also invited the members of the FIF Emerging Technologies Working Group to participate on this call.

Residential Supervisory Locations Subgroup

At the request of an FIF member, FIF has created a subgroup to discuss the FINRA rule change relating to Residential Supervisory Locations (“RSLs”) and FINRA Regulatory Notice 24-02, which provides implementation details for designating RSLs. FIF has scheduled a call for this subgroup for Thursday February 29 at 11 am ET.
