On May 1 FIF submitted a comment letter to the SEC in response to new Rule 6152 proposed by FINRA, which would require the centralized reporting of Rule 605 reports to FINRA. The SLATE Working Group will have its next call on Monday May 5 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will discuss the recent request by FINRA to the SEC to extend the implementation dates for SLATE reporting and dissemination of SLATE data. The Working Group will also discuss issues and questions from FIF members relating to SLATE reporting.
